My name is Thad Fisco. My team and I created the Germ-Fogger™ disinfecting system. Since it’s a new product I’m not going to try to kid you with a bunch of fake testimonials. When we have real testimonials from real satisfied clients, we’ll post them. Germ-Fogger™ is not our first rodeo. Portland Kettle Works (“PKW”), the parent company of Germ-Fogger, was founded in 2011. Over the past 10 years our team built PKW into one of the world’s leading providers of stainless steel beverage and craft brewing equipment. We’ve manufactured and delivered over 360 craft breweries. Our clients are among the most successful craft brewers in the world. More recently PKW has been expanding into wine making, kombucha brewing, cold-brew coffee extraction, and now, Germ-Fogger.

We know all too well that introducing a successful new product requires a need, an innovative idea, a resourceful team with seemingly limitless dedication and experience to design it and the skills to manufacture it. Sanitation and disinfection are not strangers to us. In our state of the art facility in Portland, Oregon USA we build and test complicated automated equipment every day.

When the COVID-19 crisis hit we looked for an efficient way to quickly decontaminate LABrewatory, our craft bewery and coffee bar. We spoke with friends in the disinfectant, facilities maintenance, and contract cleaning businesses who pointed us to mostly problem-prone, imported Chinese plastic products that forced the industry to rely on inefficient manual scrubbing, sponging and mopping. Our team studied the concepts, and CDC recommendations on proper disinfection techniques. We experimented with innovative concepts and the Germ-Fogger was born!

Our initial plan was to offer Germ-Fogger™ to our existing craft brewery and beverage production clients. However, the fast spread of the COVID-19 pandemic led us to take the Germ-Fogger to a wider market.
