Q. How does Germ-Fogger GF-005 differ from backpack sprayers?

A.  Germ-Fogger is superior to backpack sprayers in many ways:

Germ-Fogger is designed to eliminate the possibility of expensive on the job injuries caused by workers carrying heavy and uncomfortable backpack sprayers weighting up to 35 or 40 pounds for hours at a time.

Germ fogger applications guns weigh only about 24 oz.

Each GF-005 unit can support 2 independent application guns, allowing twice the rate of production of backpack sprayers.

The GF-005 carries 5-gallons of EPA registered disinfecting agent in a single onboard container. To keep production moving rapidly additional containers can be pre-mixed and swapping an empty for a full container takes just seconds.

Germ-Fogger components are extremely robust, industrial and all components are user-serviceable or replaceable. Germ-Foggers will last for years, in comparison to plastic backpack units that are prone to breakdown with little options for user-serviceable parts availability. Beware of expensive sprayers that become disposable if they break.

Q. Does Germ-Fogger™ require any special cleaning agents or reagents?

A. No. The Germ-Fogger works with a variety of widely available bulk EPA registered liquid disinfecting agents which are processed into the ultra-fine vortecular™ mist right in the unit (click here to see the current EPA list). Our large capacity disinfecting agent mixing and holding tanks mean more time spraying and less time mixing and more time making money.

Q. Are recommended Germ-Fogger™ disinfectants safe?

A. Definitely! The Germ-Fogger™ disinfectant mist is light, yet provides 100% coverage of all treated surfaces with a very light coating that, depending upon the disinfecting agent used, can kills virtually all viruses, germs and bacteria. When properly applied the mist is light enough to be used on sensitive electronics and other delicate surfaces and it dissipates without wiping within a few minutes of application.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only use Germ-Fogger with EPA registered disinfecting agents. Always follow the disinfecting agent manufacturer’s instructions for safe use. Other materials may damage your unit and void the warranty.

Q. How long after fogging does it take before the surface is safe for users?

A. It varies some among disinfecting agents but normally the treated area is safe for use within 1/2 hour after treatment.
